Charlotte Newell has practiced solely in Criminal Law, Prosecuting and Defending, since her call to the Bar in 1994.
She has Prosecuted and Defended cases of the utmost seriousness in the Crown and Appellate Courts. Charlotte Newell has particular expertise in the Prosecution and Defence of serious sexual allegations and cases involving young and vulnerable witnesses. Charlotte is known for early and thorough case preparation as well as incredible attention to detail.
Charlotte is a member of the CBA Education Committee and has been a pupil supervisor since 2005.
