Mark Dacey is instructed as Lead Counsel in the Crown and Appellate Courts throughout London, the South East and the U.K.
Mr Dacey's practice has been primarily focused upon serious criminal defence work involving professional and organised crime. Cases undertaken include Murder; Robbery; Rape; Kidnap; False Imprisonment; Firearms; Drug Importation & Supply; Other Serious Violent and Sexual Crime; Arson; Theft; and Money Laundering. Particular areas of interest include matters where there are mental health issues and he has expertise in dealing with cases that involve vulnerable witnesses and defendants. Additonally he regularly undertakes matters involving covert surveillance.
Mr Dacey's Prosecution practice has taken in Central Criminal Court work such as Armed Robberies and sexual crime including child internet pornography.
He has appeared in the House of Lords and regularly in the Court of Appeal often where all other parties are represented by silks.
