Paul Jackson is a specialist criminal practitioner appearing for the Crown and Defence in Crown Courts throughout the UK. He places great emphasis on thorough preparation and first class advocacy. Whilst experienced in all areas of criminal law, he has particular expertise in offences of the most serious violence, drugs, fraud and organised crime. He also has experience appearing before the Courts Martial.

- R v Caird (2011) – arson with intent to endanger life. Defence of male accused of throwing a petrol bomb at his ex-partner’s house whilst she was in it. Acquitted.
- R v Hayes (2011) – defence of male charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and possession of three bladed articles. The case involved the defence of automatism.
- R v Tear and others (2011) – led junior in defence of male charged with conspiracy to murder.
- R v Talebi (2011) – robbery. Defence of male charged with robbery of vulnerable victim. Acquitted.
- R v Carter (2010) – prosecution of male charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
- R v Kofi-Kusi (2010) – defence of male charged with armed robbery. Acquitted.
- R v Keet (2009) – defence of female charged with perverting the course of public justice. Acquitted.
- R v Richards (2009) – threats to kill charge stayed after successful abuse of process argument following the Police’s failure to obtain and retain material and failure to pursue all reasonable lines of inquiry.
- R v Abdullahi (2008) – Somali father charged with threatening to kill his daughter because she had become pregnant out of wedlock.
- R v D’Aoust (2008) – led Junior in defence of male charged with £5million mortgage fraud. The case was stopped at half-time following a successful submission of no case to answer.
- R v Tran (2007) – led Junior in defence of female in seven handed conspiracy to cultivate cannabis and money laundering case.
- R v TaMerry (2007) – led Junior in a successful appeal against conviction in The Court of Appeal of Bermuda for the involuntary manslaughter by father of his 9 month old daughter.
