Background
1981 to 1994 served in the Metropolitan Police. Left the service as a Detective Sergeant to qualify for the Bar. Gained considerable experience of covert police operations and murder investigations.

Current Practice
Criminal Law for both defence and prosecution. Instructed as Leading Junior. Also has expertise in Military Law, Police Misconduct and Disciplinary Proceedings and experience of Judicial Review in the context of Criminal cases, Police Misconduct, and Military Law.

£7m "Boiler Room" high pressure share pushing operation.

R v. K & anr [C.C.C. 2010]

Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in murder allegation.

R v. Vi [2010]

Allegation of GBH by transmitting the HIV virus.

R v. A [2010]

Historic rape allegations against teacher by pupil.

R v. S,M,B,B,S [2009]

Large Scale conspiracy to supply vast quantities of Cocaine.

R v. K [2009]

Landmark decision on "bad character" and "delay" in historic child abuse case.

Thames Valley Police v. S & ors [2009]

Police Misconduct proceedings. Four officers charged with dishonesty and bringing the service into disrepute.

R v. Gjoshi & ors [2009]

Thought to be largest forgery factory uncovered by the Met Police Specialist Crime Directorate.

R v. Norton [2008]

Murder. Defence of 86 year old man charged with killing his 85 yr old wife.

R v. Waterman [2008]

Drugs. 1 of 19 defendants charged conspiring to smuggle and supply cocaine.

R v. Kolapo & ors [2008]

10 week VAT fraud, involving many £1m+ and 5 defendants.

R v. Maxwell & Hunter [2007]

Armed Robbery. Violent attacks on wages delivery and building society with firearms.
