R v. Jordon and ors. [2009] EWCA Crim 963
Snaresbrook Crown Court - Jonathan Polnay prosecuted these three Defendants for possession of a firearm with criminal intent. Following an intelligence led operation, the Defendants were arrested with a firearm, cable ties and balaclavas.
Following conviction, one of the Defendant's appealed. The appeal was dismissed, the Court of Appeal affirming the principle that bad character evidence may be adduced to rebut evidence of coincidental innocent association.
