Maidstone Crown Court - Jonathan Polnay prosecuted this organised attempt at smuggling an articulated lorry-full of ciagrettes on behalf of HMRC.
The case involved legal argument over the admission of foreign non-conviction bad character evidence and previously smuggling dealth with under the commercialty provisions.
