Following a four-week trial at the Central Criminal Court, a man was convicted of murdering his ex-partner’s father, in a frenzied knife attack.

Jurors were told that on the evening of the killing, Ms Thomas received threatening and abusive texts from Mr Williams and called police twice before her father was attacked.

The jury unanimously found Mr Williams guilty of murder and guilty of having a bladed article by an 11-to-one majority.  The verdicts were delivered after deliberations of nearly 18 hours.

Sentencing will take place on Friday 18TH July.
