We are delighted to announce that William Davis has been recommended for appointment as King’s Counsel (KC). The Lord Chancellor will formally bestow the title of KC upon William at the Silks’ appointment ceremony at Westminster Hall on 23th March 2026.
This year, King Charles III has approved the appointment of 96 barristers as King’s Counsel in England and Wales. The title of KC is awarded to those who have demonstrated overall excellence in advocacy in the higher courts.
Sarah Forshaw KC and Mark Heywood KC, Joint Heads of Chambers at 5KBW, said:
“We are thrilled to learn of William Davis’ recommendation for appointment. William is a first-class advocate in every way. His direct, compelling, and beautifully framed approach is always anchored in hard preparation, legal fluency, and a determination to pitch the case at its very best. His excellence at what he does has been rightly recognised. For him, the Silk gown will be an easy fit. His step into the ‘front row’ brings to 12 the number of King’s Counsel at 5 King’s Bench Walk, reflecting our aim to deliver the very best.”
Congratulations to William and all those who were successful.
