Sarah Forshaw KC successfully represents defendant in Kingston murder trial

Sarah Forshaw KC of 5KBW, instructed by Bernie Duke of EBR Attridge and leading Charlotte Oliver of 5SAH, represented the first of three defendants in a four week murder trial before Mr Justice Butcher (appointed Lord Justice during the course of the trial) and a jury at Kingston Crown Court.

The first defendant was 15 years old at the material time.

The prosecution alleged that, on 9 December 2025, all three defendants robbed a cannabis dealer before the first defendant fatally stabbed him.

Following trial, the jury unanimously acquitted the first defendant of murder, manslaughter and conspiracy to rob.
