Aska was instructed as led junior counsel to prosecute seven defendants charged with armed robbery. The defendants targeted cash-in-transit deliveries and threatened security staff with loaded firearms, crowbars and other weapons. Through extensive analysis of cell-site and vehicle tracking data, their movements following cash-in-transit vans in the days prior to the robberies as they reconnoitred the routes were revealed.
