Sam Willis prosecuted four young men for planning and then carrying out an armed robbery in North London.

At trial, the jury were presented with a 1900-row schedule of communications between the defendants, with slang interpretations provided by an expert witness. Other evidence relied upon included photographs and videos extracted from mobile telephones, cell site mapping, and admissions made in interview.

Two defendants were convicted after a two-week trial, and the other two had pleaded guilty at an earlier stage in the proceedings.
