Ben Holt, led by Alan Garnder KC [23ES] prosecuted eight men for a fatal shooting that took place in West Kensington on 1 April 2025. The deceased was executed on the front doorstep of a flat block close to Queen’s tennis club. The murder arose from a dispute in relation to drugs in the local area. Following a five-month trial six defendants were convicted of murder. They just could not decide on two further defendants and a re-trial was ordered.
