After a 5 week trial at Reading Crown Court, a defendant accused of blackmail, forced labour and kidnapping, was acquitted of all charges.
The Prosecution’s case was strengthened by audio enhanced CCTV footage showing the defendant putting the complainant into a vehicle with some colourful language and by dash cam footage showing the complainant fleeing from a crash on the M25. He said he had cause the crash to effect his escape.
