Phoebe Bragg was instructed to defend a man initially charged with participating in a fraudulent business in relation to the wholesaling of illegal disposal vapes.
His arrest followed an investigation by Swansea Trading Standards into the illegal supply chain and led to warrants being executed at a warehouse in London. Over 100,000 illegal vapes were seized with a value of nearly £1 million.
The defendant ultimately pleaded to a regulatory offence, lowering the maximum sentence from 10 years imprisonment to 2 years. He was sentenced to a community order.
