Ben Holt (led by Alan Gardner KC, 23ES) prosecuted four defendants for the murder of Lathaniel Burrell. Lathaniel was sixteen when he was shot dead outside Fishlock Court, Stockwell at 2:30pm on 4 March 2025. Following a two-month trial before the Common Serjeant at the Central Criminal Court, Neo Duodo-Watson and Omar Prempeh were convicted of murder. The jury could not reach verdicts on two defendants charged with murder and one charged with perverting the course of justice. They will be re-tried later in the year.
