Jennifer Dannhauser represented an individual charged with falsely imprisoning a complainant overnight, threatening her at gunpoint and sexually assaulting her. The complainant had pictures of the firearm and the defendant had previous convictions for firearms offences, of which the jury were informed. Following an eight-day trial, which included the complainant being cross examined for a day and a half, the jury acquitted the defendant of the charges in under an hour.

Jennifer was instructed by Emma Oliphant from Blackfords Solicitors.
