Harriet Palfreman represented a client charged with two assaults arising from incidents at HMP The Mount.
The prosecution alleged that the client was in possession of an unauthorised offensive weapon, which was used to assault two prison officers. The trial involved detailed cross-examination of both prison officers, together with extensive legal argument.
Following a 4-day trial at St. Albans Crown Court, the individual was unanimously acquitted of all three counts.
