Aska Fujita is an experienced and sought-after barrister who excels in complex or highly technical cases, particularly those requiring extensive factual analysis.
She is meticulous in her preparation and is skilled in identifying and distilling the critical evidence from large quantities of notes and case material. Aska is equally adept in presenting expert or technical evidence clearly and succinctly to a jury.
She is on the SFO Prosecution counsel list and is currently instructed as trial disclosure counsel. Aska has significant expertise in bribery and corruption, corporate crime, financial crime and proceeds of crime cases where her fluency in finance and attention to detail are particular assets. Among such cases, she has experience of defending in prosecutions brought by the FCA in relation to CFD pension trading fraud.
Aska is a native Japanese speaker and has given seminars on UK constitutional and criminal law to Japanese lawyers, judges, prosecutors and MPs.
