Jennifer Dannhauser is an outstanding advocate, who regularly prosecutes and defends in the most serious criminal cases including murder, rape, fraud and other serious violent, sexual and drugs offences.
She is a highly effective courtroom performer, where her meticulous attention to detail and solid preparation enable her to cut through the noise and get to the heart of the matter. Her experience as both prosecution and defence counsel gives her the advantage of understanding how opposing counsel is likely to structure their case and she is highly skilled in exposing the weaknesses in their arguments, even in the most complex cases. She has tremendous recall of detail and is also experienced in dealing with expert and forensic evidence including firearms, CCTV, and cell site evidence.
Alongside her relentless and detailed cross-examination of witnesses, Jennifer also has great experience of prosecuting and defending in rape and other sexual offence cases. She is skilled in dealing with and cross-examining both young and vulnerable witnesses and defendants, where her sensitive but firm approach enables her to access the best possible evidence.
Jennifer is on the specialist Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Prosecuting Panel and the General Crime CPS Prosecuting Panel (Level 4).
