Danny Robinson is a Criminal and Regulatory barrister renowned for his expertise in cases of Serious Fraud, Homicide and all forms of Organised Crime.
Before his appointment as Queen’s Counsel in 2019, Danny was one of the pre-eminent juniors at the criminal Bar. He is a talented trial advocate who combines excellent judgment with a clear focus on the important issues in a case. He is frequently instructed in homicide cases at the Central Criminal Court and elsewhere, often involving gang murders.
His practise takes in all aspects of serious and organised crime, with an emphasis on fraud, money laundering and confiscation. He has particular expertise in cases involving RIPA, PII and disclosure issues. He has vast experience in prosecuting and defending cases of serious sexual misconduct. He has been described as “a first class advocate, with a real cutting edge. Bags of charm but utterly ruthless.”
Danny is a member of the Bar Council’s Ethics Committee, and of the Money Laundering Working Group.
