Annual Advocacy Event

5KBW were delighted to organise and host the annual advocacy event for current First Six pupils at Inner London Crown Court on 14th March 2024. Participating chambers this year included 5KBW, 2 Bedford Row, Red Lion Chambers, 5 Paper Buildings, 2 Harcourt Buildings, 4 Breams Buildings and Mountford Chambers. Twenty pupils completed exercises in a court list in 2 courtrooms presided over by Her Honour Judge Cottage KC and His Honour Judge Kelleher. In addition, 18 BPC students from the University of Law portrayed defendants to ensure the experience offered an insight into a typical day at a Crown Court for all.
