Court of Appeal success for Alejandra Tascon

Alejandra, instructed by Darekshan Salaria of Simon Bethel Solicitors, represented the Appellant at the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) on an appeal against sentence following the imposition of a 28 month sentence of immediate imprisonment at Norwich Crown Court,  following guilty pleas to two counts of Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs.

It was successfully argued that the sentencing judge had failed to apply any discount to the Appellant’s sentence for personal circumstances and personal mitigation.

Following successful appeal, the sentence was reduced to 24 months imprisonment, suspended for 2 years.
