Profile:
17 years as a junior - 14 years in silk
An old-fashioned general common law background.
For many years tramped between the county courts of the Western and Wales circuits often defending Factories Act cases for Iron Trades Insurers, Eagle Star and Norwich Union and prosecuting plaintiff cases for the T&GW Union.

In 1983 a simplified Judicial Review procedure led to a great increase in the work of the Crown Office. From that time, Ian Glen was heavily involved in High Court applications and cases stated by inferior courts and tribunals.
